Christine Tirk, founder of Clear Choice Hearing and Balance, is a NYS Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. A graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport, Christine has 14-plus years of experience using her strong psychology/counseling background to help patients regain quality of life, combining the most advanced technology available with a thorough understanding of patients’ needs and concerns. She is a member in good standing of the International Hearing Society and the New York State Hearing Health Care Alliance.
Ron D’Angelo, AuD is a NYS licensed audiologist and is coordinator of diagnostic and therapy programs at Clear Choice Hearing and Balance. He holds degrees from the University of Rochester and Syracuse University, is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Tinnitus Association. His background includes vestibular/balance disorders, educational audiology, tinnitus treatment, hearing aid selection/fitting and hearing conservation. He has given lectures and presentations at Syracuse University, Nazareth College and the Eastman School of Music. Ron is also a professional musician, having performed with Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Natalie Cole, and other national and regional acts, including Rochester-based Prime Time Funk. He has fit many musicians with custom hearing protection and personal monitor devices.
Salvatore Tuttobene, is a NYS Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, whom is Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. A graduate of Ashford University, Salvatore has many years of experience assisting patients with hearing aid selection and fitting. He takes great pride in helping patients regain their quality of life, using the most advanced technology available while thoroughly understanding their lifestyle and needs. Salvatore is a U.S. Military veteran who has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has served on several committees to ensure Veterans hearing needs are met within the local community. He is a member in good standing of the National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences, International Hearing Society, and the New York State Hearing Health Care Alliance.
Kyrsten Stephany, AUD, is a NYS licensed audiologist. She specializes in pediatric audiology, hearing aid selection and fitting. A Wichita State University graduate, Kyrsten finds that early identification of hearing loss is important in all ages, especially children. She also enjoys being able to educate patients on their hearing by being recent on advances in hearing technology. She is a fellow of the American Speech and Hearing Association.
